Once you’ve created your products, it’s time to make them shine! Crowdmade’s Product Editor tools allow you to manage individual items. This guide will show you how to add personalized touches, update descriptions, and ensure your products are ready to impress your audience.
Step 1: Access the Product Editor
To start managing your products, head to your Crowdmade dashboard and select the “Product Editor” from the "Products" dropdown menu. Here, you’ll see a list of all the products you’ve created.
Step 2: Edit Individual Products
Click on any product in the list to open the detailed editor. This is where you can make specific changes to each item, including updating descriptions, adding personalized images, and tweaking the design.
Add or Update Product Descriptions
A well-crafted description can make all the difference. Use the editor to write or update your product descriptions. Highlight what makes your product unique, why your fans will love it, and any special features.
Customize Product Images
There will be pre-loaded default images for your product, but you can upload new images or adjust existing ones to better showcase your product. Consider adding lifestyle images of yourself wearing/using your merch or mockups that show your product in action—this helps customers visualize how they’ll use or wear your merchandise. Simply drag and drop images for your product!
Manage Your Earnings
It's important to set your earnings for your products. You initially did this during product build, but you can easily adjust how much you want to make per product variant. Simply enter the amount you want to earn for each variant, and the system will automatically calculate the retail price. Once you’re satisfied with the profit margin, hit “Save” to apply your changes.
Publish Your Product
After you’ve managed your earnings and made all your edits, it’s time to publish your product. Just set your product status to "Active” in the status dropdown and hit "Save" Your updated descriptions, images, and pricing will now be available for all your buyers to see!
View Your Product Live
Once your product is published, it’s a good idea to click the “View Product” button to see how it looks live in your store. This gives you the chance to experience it just as your customers will and make any final tweaks if needed.
