Managing your store on Crowdmade is all about making it easy for your audience to find and buy your products. This guide will show you how to organize your merchandise to appear in the perfect order and how to view your store as your customers will see it.
It's important to put your best foot forward, but sometimes our products aren't in the order we'd like. Here's an example store where our shirt is at the end of our products, but we'd like to move it to the beginning:
Step 1: Open the Product Sorter
To start organizing your store, navigate to the “Product Sort" under the "Products" dropdown menu. Here you will see all of your products and their current publishing status.
Step 2: Rearrange Your Products
Your store’s layout plays a crucial role in guiding your customers to the products they’re most likely to purchase. Here’s how to arrange your products:
- Drag and Drop: Simply click and drag products to rearrange their order on your store page. Want to highlight a new item? Move it to the top of the list to catch your customers’ attention.
- Feature Products: If you have bestsellers or seasonal items, consider featuring them at the top of your products.
When you're happy with the order of your products hit "Save Product Order" to publish these changes to your store.
Tips for Effective Product Arrangement:
- Highlight New Arrivals: Place new products at the top to generate excitement.
- Group Similar Items: Organize products by category (e.g., apparel, accessories) to make shopping easier.
- Showcase Bestsellers: Make sure your top-selling items are easy to find.
Step 3: View Your Store
Once you’ve arranged your products, it’s important to view your store to ensure everything looks just right. Here’s how:
- View Your Store: Use the “View Store” button to see how your store appears to your customers. This lets you check the arrangement, product images, and descriptions as they’ll be seen by your audience.
- Make Adjustments: If something doesn’t look quite right, go back to the Store Management tools to tweak the layout or product order.
That's it! You've successfully built products and published them to your store. Next up, learning how to make effective promotions to really generate sales.
